The inverter is equipped adjustable HOTSTART function facilitates the arc ignition by using high starting current for a predefined period of time, adjustable ARCFORCE technology automatically levels voltage fluctuations in the arc caused by the movement of welder‘s hand and the ANTISTICK function switches off the welding current in case the electrode should or already has stacked to the weldpiece.

The machine is equipped with a „fan on demand“ function (if the machine does not need to be cooled, it after about 4 minutes automatically reduce fan speed).
Invertors is equipped by Voltage Reduction Device (VDR). However, in a certain environment the welder can feel very unpleasant tingling – electrical shocks. The Perun 160 E and 220 E is such an appliance which will not expose the welders to those unpleasant states.
The machine is equipped as standard with a 16A plug for connection to a 1x230V single-phase grid. If the machine is to be operated at higher load where the effective current exceeds 16A, the standard plug must be replaced with a 32A industrial type. The maximum rating of the mains socket must not exceed 25A. In this case, the load factors shown in brackets apply. Modification of the connection may only be carried out by a person with appropriate qualification. Before doing so, the person must also check the state of the eletrical grid and make sure whether it is possible to connect the machine in this way.
